Organisation of the Islamic Conference OIC

It is absolutely absurd that India and Philipine are blocked and in particular India with huge muslim population of more than 100 millions.

Islam is not Growing Fast at All .... Christianity is Growing Fast Muslims Abandoned Dawaa

We often read that Islam is the fastest-growing religion. Not true. Christianity is the fastest-growing religion in the world today. Islam is second. While Islam grows mainly through reproduction, which is to say Muslims having large families, Christianity spreads through rapid conversion as well as natural increase. Islam has become the fastest-growing religion in Europe, which for more than a thousand years has been the home of Christianity. Catholic writer Hilaire Belloc wrote in 1920 that "the faith is Europe and Europe is the faith." Belloc was convinced that the future of Christianity lay in Europe.

In 1900, more than 80 percent of Christians lived in Europe and America. Today 60 percent live in the developing world. More than two out of three evangelical Christians now live in Asia, Africa, and South America. Here are some numbers Jenkins provides: Europe today has 560 million Christians and America has 260 million, yet many of these are Christian in name only. In comparison, there are 480 million Christians in South America, 313 million in Asia, and 360 million in Africa. The vast majority of these are practicing Christians. There is more churchgoing Presbyterians in Ghana than in Scotland.

A century ago, less than 10 percent of Africa was Christian. Today it's nearly 50 percent. That's an increase from 10 million people in 1900 to more than 350 million today. Uganda alone has nearly 20 million Christians and is projected to have 50 million by the middle of the century. Some African congregations have grown so big that their churches are running out of space. While Western preachers routinely implore people to come Sunday to fill the pews, some African preachers ask their members to limit their attendance to every second or third Sunday to give others a chance to hear the message.

Central and South America are witnessing the explosive growth of Pentecostalism. As David Martin shows in his study 'Tongues of Fire,' partly this is a shift within Christianity: Millions of South American Catholics have become evangelical Protestants. In Brazil, for example, there are now 50 million evangelical Protestants whereas a few decades ago there weren't enough to count. The movement of Catholics into Protestant evangelicalism should not be considered purely lateral; however, as the conversion lackadaisical nominal Catholics to an active, energized evangelicalism can perhaps be considered a net gain for Christianity. Even within Catholicism there is an expanding charismatic movement that has grown in response to the success of the Protestant evangelicals. This charismatic Catholicism emphasizes many of the same themes as 'born again' Christianity, including a personal relationship with Christ. And Catholic numbers remain huge: Brazil had 50 million Catholics in 1950, but now it has 120 million.

Despite the limitations imposed by the Chinese government, it is estimated that there are now 100 million Christians in China who worship in underground evangelical and Catholic churches. At current growth rates, Davis Aikman observes in his book 'Jesus in Beijing,' China will in a few decades become the largest Christian country in the world. In Korea, where Christians already outnumber Buddhists, there are numerous mega-churches with more than 10,000 members each. The Yoido Full Gospel Church reports 750,000 members. The Catholic Church in the Philippines reports 60 million members, and is projected to have 120 million by mid-century.

Friday Jumaa Prayers Should be more Enjoyable

Specially in America and Europe Friday Jumaa Prayer Enjoyable. There is competition with the church services where they have religious songs and hymns.
Muslims should have such things after the prayers proper.

The Most Emphasis in Islam Should be Based on the Belief in Allah

Although Muslims believe in the prophet Muhammed, however emphasis in Islam should be on the believe of Allah and not much concentration on the individual stories of the prophet live. This is distraction of the message of Islam.

Stories in Islam and Christianity-Nasara

One of the human nature is to love stories and as such the bible has far edge than Quraan. So to be sophisticated on assumes is to brag about your knowledge contained in the bible.
On the other hand one should search the truth about God the invisible to us but we can see and hear his acts and feel his presence. Islam as such as more powerful as such regardless the mountains of stories in the bible.

Essalam mosque in Rotterdam, Holland Largest in Europe

Mevlana Mosque in Rotterdam - Netherlands

The Essalam mosque in Rotterdam, the biggest mosque in Western Europe, is pictured after it was opened 17 Dec 2010 by Rotterdam mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb. The EUR 4 M mosque was built with help from the Maktoum Charity Foundation from Dubai.

Upwards of 1,500 [some sources estimate as many as 3,000] congregants can be accommodated in the prayer room of the Essalem Mosque, drawn from Holland's huge Moroccan Muslim immigrant community. The building is 4 stories high and the minarets dwarf the towers of the Feyenoord Stadium which is located nearby.

The mosque was inaugurated by the Muslim Mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb and legislator Hamit Karakus, who was instrumental in bringing the project to completion.

Egypt Muslim Brotherhood are Embarrassment Very Secular Did Not Help Islam When They had 88 Members in Parliament

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood did not serve the cause of Islam at all at the time when they had 88-members in the parliament. Nothing, nothing, no ideas at all for Islam. Only they were concerned with was the price of food and housing nothing about Islam like religious education in schools. In the mean time they ventured into Gaza issues and the Camp David agreement between Egypt and Israel.
The Muslim Brotherhood is very stupid group and Muslims in Egypt needs another party that really defends Islam in all aspects of life in society.

Islamic Nasheed should be More Innovative Women and Men Should Join Together

The Islamic nasheed's religious chanting although the words are beautiful in meaning they are to some degree boring.
The uni-sex barrier should be broken. Men and women in nice colorful dress showing modesty at the same time should join together in singing. Only the Bosnian/Bosniac nasheed Ilahi to the extent of knowledge presents so beautiful ensemble.
Muslims should be aware of the Christian spiritual religious singing and they should break the mode of chanting into real songs.
No need to be frozen in time with no innovation.

The Future Mosques Design Needs to Have Auditoriums Beside the Prayer Area

With competition from churches the new designed mosques to be built must have auditoriums for lectures and discussions. A social hall is important also for functions such as weddings, funerals and banquets.
The traditional concept that mosques are only for prayers and Khotbas on Friday should be abandoned in the face of the challenges posed by the churches and Christian satellites aiming to convert the Muslims and abandoning their faith to Christianity and Jesus worship.

Birmingham Central Mosque United Kingdom

Birmingham Central Mosque is the second purpose built mosque in the United Kingdom, which was built in 1969 and opened to the public in 1975. It is one of the most recognised religious buildings in the city of Birmingham and a result, a vast number of people visit the mosque every year. The mosque has a special Guest Book which visitors have been signing since 1984; all visitors are encouraged to leave their messages about the mosque's visit in the Visitors' book.

The Birmingham Central Mosque is open to visitors throughout the year. We receive a large number of visitors from schools, colleges, universities and other institutions wishing to find out more about a mosque and the Islamic faith for projects and studies.

The London Central Mosque

History
The London Central Mosque was founded during World War II, in recognition of the substantial Muslim population of the British Empire and its support for the Allies during the war. On October 24, 1940, the Churchill War Cabinet allocated £100,000 for acquisition of a site for a mosque in London. The site chosen was a 2.3-acre spot in a prime location next to Regent's Park.

The Islamic Cultural Centre, which would later include the mosque, was officially opened in November 1944 by King George VI. But development of the mosque itself foundered. Various designs were proposed while the Mosque Committee had difficulty acquiring necessary building permits.

Not until 1969 was a design approved (after an international competition) and construction begun. The mosque was designed by English architect Frederick Gibberd, and the expense supported by a donation of £2 million by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. The mosque was finally completed in July 1977, at a total cost of £6.5 million.
